Function & Application of Doxycycline hyclate
Tetracycline antibiotics, Doxycycline interferes with the formation of ribosome complexes between tRNA and mRNA, by binding to the receptor on the ribosome 30S subunit reversible, prevents peptide chains from prolonging and inhibits protein synthesis, so that the growth and reproduction of bacteria are rapidly suppressed. Doxycycline has an inhibitory effect on both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Bacteria have cross resistance to doxycycline and oxytetracycline.
Oral absorption is rapid, has less affected by food, high bioavailability, strong tissue penetration and wide distribution, and effective blood concentration is maintained for a long time. The protein binding rate of swine was 93%.
